Fibroblasts are a primary structural proteins that tell collagen and elastin to reproduce or to repair themselves. They also promote wound healing. BUT – as we age, our fibroblast signals get weaker, and our skin starts to thin, wrinkle, develop crepiness, and wounds heal more slowly.
